Our mission is to educate and raise awareness among families about the benefits of early genetic testing and the benefits of prevention, monitoring and treatment options.

My name is Cynthia Massey Bradford, and I’m the Executive Director of Brighter Onward Beliefs (BOB).  We aim to reduce the profound disparities in the health outcomes of America’s ethnic minority populations.  While fostering alliances among the government, the public healthcare industry, and the community at large, our goal is to provide access and information to everyone.

Research in genetic testing has come a long way, it provides a sense of being informed, relief from uncertainty and how test results can help individuals and families make better decisions around their health.  Uses of genetic testing provides information about your background (family and family history) which includes Newborn, Diagnostic, Carrier, and Prenatal screenings to name a few. 

Genetic testing through all laboratories, are subject to federal regulatory standards and stricter state requirements.  Brighter Onward Beliefs (BOB) is on a journey to support underrepresented and under-sourced groups by conducting vigorous community engagement through events; health fairs, churches,  but the information is accessible to everyone. 

BOB will provide health care resources and humanitarian initiatives to promote lifesaving products and services, to educate all on strategies, remedies, interventions, and information dissemination to address specific diseases that affect many in our community.
